Back in 2008, while building our family home, we dreamed of an elegantly designed, well-organized space where everything had its place, making daily life effortless. However, the journey to achieving this was anything but easy.
We struggled to find a designer who could truly understand our vision—someone who would incorporate the best materials and functional solutions. Even more challenging was finding a team that could seamlessly execute it. With no single entity providing both expertise and execution, we took matters into our own hands.
We meticulously researched the finest hardware and materials available, designed our own interiors, and even trained a carpenter to bring our vision to life. The lack of professionalism in this field made it an uphill battle, but we eventually created a space that was not just beautiful but highly organized and functional.
That’s when we asked ourselves—what if we could simplify this process for others? What if families like ours could have access to thoughtfully designed, expertly executed interiors without the hassle? And so, Kshidi Interiors was born, with a mission to help families transform their spaces into seamlessly organized, elegant homes.
The Team
Kshidi Interiors was founded by Dilip and Saleena, a couple who turned their personal journey into a mission to transform home interiors in Mysore. While Dilip, a textile engineer by profession, comes from a family with three generations of experience in carpentry and woodworking, his deep-rooted passion for the craft led him to leave his high-profile job to pursue this field full-time. Recognizing the widespread unprofessionalism in the industry, he was determined to create a business built on quality, expertise, and integrity.
Saleena, a botanist by qualification, always had a strong interest in interior design and home organization. Together, they started Kshidi Interiors on a modest scale, driven by their shared vision of designing well-organized, functional, and elegant spaces. Their genuine passion for the work, keen attention to detail, and uncompromising approach to quality quickly resonated with families, allowing the business to grow organically.
As the journey unfolded, their daughter, Ksheera, who pursued Architecture out of her own creative inclination, joined the company—further strengthening the foundation of Kshidi Interiors. Today, the business is led by this family, along with a highly trained team of designers and skilled execution specialists. Regardless of background, every team member is selected for their willingness to learn, collaborative mindset, and a genuine commitment to helping clients create their dream homes.
